Kami the Dog needs a home
We call her our knee-high Kami. She was a stray off the streets of Lexington, SC and brought to their shelter very, very pregnant. The workers there fell in love with her and helped us arrange an emergency transport to get her to DPR January 20th. She slept for the first few days after arrival and on January 23rd gave birth to 7 beautiful babies. She is being a great mom and has done great with all the other dogs in the house, especially the nine month old puppy who is begging for her to play. We believe Kami was someone's dog at one time. She knows some basic commands like sit and give her paw. She is just now (2/7) still in her mommy mode so we learn more about her personality each day and will provide updates on her as we get closer to when she can be adopted to her very own family.
